Suppliers Requested to Upload Proof of Physical Address on CSD.
The Mpumalanga Provincial Treasury appeals to all suppliers who wish to continue doing business with the state to upload proof business location /address and update commodities on the Central Suppliers Database (CSD) before 1 November 2024.
The requirement for proof of physical location of the business is part of measures to enhance the integrity of supplier information on CSD.
MEC Majuba said accurate supplier information is crucial for efficient and transparent procurement by the public sector institutions in the Province.
“All departments, public entities, and municipalities use the Central Supplier Database to identify prospective suppliers for the goods and services that are required to enable effective delivery of services to the communities”, said MEC Majuba.
“It is therefore important that the business information on is credible and up-to-date at all times.”
Suppliers are reminded that non-compliance with this requirement will result in automatic deactivation of their CSD accounts or profiles from 1 November 2024.
