Provincial Treasury welcomes new Acting Head of Department

MEC for Finance, Economic Development and Tourism, Mr. Sikhumbuzo Eric Kholwane has welcomed the appointment of Ms Gugu Mashiteng as the Acting Head Official for Provincial Treasury.
Before being appointed to this senior position in the Provincial Treasury, Ms Mashiteng was the Chief Financial Officer at the Department of Education in the Province.
MEC Kholwane conveyed his gratitude to Ms Mashiteng for agreeing to lead the Provincial Treasury, further adding that her appointment will also ensure continuity and stability in the administration given her understanding of the mandate of the department.
The Acting Head Official, Ms Mashiteng will lead an equally motivated team to continue providing expert guidance to departments, public entities and municipalities on resource management and financial governance amongst other responsibilities.
