The sensational and beautiful queens were hosted by the MEC for Finance, Economic Development and Tourism, Mr. Sikhumbuzo Kholwane as part of Mandela Month and to introduce both Miss Mpumalanga and Miss Tourism Universe to the youth.

“My background was not a good one but faith, patience, and self-love made me who I am today”, said Miss Ngaleka.

Miss Ngaleka encouraged learners to love and respect themselves and take their education very serious to succeed in life.

Also in attending the meet and greet occasion was the current Miss Mpumalanga 2016, Elaine Mkhabela, who said youth must stand up for themselves and prioritise their future above all.

Miss Mpumalanga and Miss Tourism Universe are the champions of responsible gambling and campaign to promote Mpumalanga as a tourist destination of choice respectively.
