Finance MEC to donate food parcels and clothing to the needy as part of celebrating Mandela Day

Mpumalanga Finance MEC, Mrs Y.N (Pinky) Phosa, the management and staff of the department of finance will join millions of people across the world, to celebrate the inaugural Mandela Day on Saturday, 18 July 2009, which is the birthday of former President, Nelson Mandela.
The MEC will visit a home of safety in Masoyi, outside White River; an orphanage in Matsulu near Malelane and an old home centre in Barberton and donate food parcels, clothing items, toiletries and other items. She will also have lunch with the elderly at the Barberton Old Age Centre and host a birthday party in celebration of the 91st birthday of Madiba.
