“This Christmas party is also an affirmation of our commitment to take step to ensure a brighter future, for children are the future public servants and leaders from whom many people will depend on to continue implementation of developmental programmes of this democratic government, said MEC Phosa.
The fourth democratic government is about delivery of basic services to all the people of South Africa, including children.
“The seriousness with which the government takes the task of improving the way we work is illustrated by the establishment of the Ministry for Women, Children and People with Disabilities. The ministry is intended ensure a dedicated attention to the needs and aspirations of women, children and people with disabilities, said MEC Phosa.
The South Africans have for many years kept an appointment with Christmas and festive season. Christmas period is one of the times during which the best of our hearts comes out to touch those who are dearest to us.
