MEC Kholwane in budget conversation with learners

MEC for Finance, Economic Development and Tourism, Mr Sikhumbuzo Kholwane will on Monday, 02 March 2015 host pre budget lunch with the learners from various schools in Emalahleni Local Municipality.

The MEC’s conversation with the learners on the 2015 Provincial Budget is part of the planned activities to promote public participation in the programmes of the Department.

The event will give the learners the opportunity to put rands and cents to the priorities that were articulated by the Premier of Mpumalanga, Hon DD Mabuza during his recent State of the Province Address.

The learners, who are mostly in the commerce stream, are expected to share their view on how the government should respond to the instructive advice of Hon Premier Mabuza that “… we must focus on enhancing efficiencies throughout the system to be able to do more with less”.
