Handing over of financial statements

According to section 40 of the PFMA, Accounting Officers must submit their Departmental financial statements within two months after the end of the financial year
to the Auditor- General for auditing.
On the 31st of May 2005, all Accounting Officers will be submitting their financial statements for their respective Departments.
It is the Provincial Treasury’s duty to ensure that such reports are submitted on time.
