Mpumalanga Finance MEC to empower people with disabilities on tendering

Mpumalanga Finance MEC, Mrs Pinky Phosa will join people with disabilities in the Province, in celebrating the International Day for People with Disabilities.

The Celebrations, under the Theme, “Keeping the promise, working together to implement the United Nations Convention on the rights of persons with disabilities”, will be in the form of an empowerment workshop to assist people with disabilities on tendering and bidding for government business and beyond.

This is part of the Department’s annual drive to empower the youth, women and people with disabilities on compiling “winning bids.”

Various stakeholders such as, Small Enterprise Development Agency (SEDA), Standard Bank, Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB), Office on the status of disable persons (OSDP) and Department of Economic Development and Tourism, have been invited to take part in the workshop
