Mpumalanga Department of Finance goes on a drive to empower youth

Mpumalanga Finance MEC, Mrs Mmathulare Coleman invites the Youth of the Province to take part in workshops that are aimed at empowering them with relevant information, which will see them being able to secure more contracts from government..

MEC Coleman will officially launch Road-Shows for Supply Chain Management as part of celebrating Youth Month and the 30th anniversary of the June 16 uprisings, at Malelane on Friday, 09 June 2006.

Three (3) information Road-shows will be held to cover the three regions of the province. The road-shows will be held in conjunction with various stakeholders, including Municipalities, the Mpumalanga Youth Commission, Umsobomvu Youth Fund, Khula Finance, Ntsika Enterprise Promotion Agency (NEPA), Small Enterprise Development Agency (SEDA), SARS, Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB), Company Intellectual Property Registration Office (CIPRO) and relevant departments.

The road-shows will bring stakeholders from diverse institutions including those that provide finance; ensures compliance to the law and those that provide support and training.

The other two (2) Road-shows will be held on 23 June 2006 at Embalenhle (Secunda), Gert Sibande Region and on 28 June 2006 at Kwaggafontein in the Nkangala Region.
