Mpumalanga department of Finance hosts a roundtable discussion on challenges and opportunities facing the province's economy

The Mpumalanga Department of Finance will host a one-day Round Table Discussion on challenges and opportunities facing the Province’s Economy from the new growth sectors. The sectors are the ICT (Information Communication Technology), Business Outsourcing, the MICE (Meetings, Incentive, Conferences and Exhibitions) Industry, and the financial services.
The objectives of the discussion are:
- To identify possible anchor projects for the province;
- To link the discussions to the budgeting and planning processes;
- To identify the state of the economy according to the role players through the discussions and their respective sectors;
Experts in various fields are expected to deliver papers. They include Ms Tendani Mantshimuli from the South African Reserve Bank, Mr Mfanu Mfayela, CEO of SACCOM Outsourcing, amongst others..

The other two (2) Road-shows will be held on 23 June 2006 at Embalenhle (Secunda), Gert Sibande Region and on 28 June 2006 at Kwaggafontein in the Nkangala Region.
