Mpumalanga Department of Finance to empower learners and students at career fair project

Mpumalanga Department of Finance in conjunction with Tshwane University of Technology, Ehlanzeni FET College, Gert Sibande FET College and University of South Africa will convene a Career fair project for learners and students in and around the Dr Pixley Ka Isaka Seme Municipality.

The career fair is part of the activities to make everyday a Mandela Day and is aimed at inspiring learners and students to choose education as a best weapon to defeat poverty and unemployment.

The objectives of the career fair are to expose the learners and student to diverse career choices, to educate the learners about processes and procedures for applying to tertiary institutions and to inform the learners and student about funding institutions and opportunities that are available to provide financial assistance.

“We will offer career advices to the learner’s and students to encourage them to rise to the occasion at the end of year examinations,” said MEC Pinky Phosa.

The event is scheduled to take place as follows:
